...is it 27 cubic ft. that = 1 cubic yd or 27sq. ft. =1 cubic yd
Square feet cannot convert to cubic yards. The first is a measure of area, the second is a measure of volume.
LINEAR MEASURE (length): 1 yard = 3 feet.
AREA (length x width): 1 yard x 1 yard = 1 square yard. 3 feet x 3 feet = 9 square
