What is the maximum work week for the military?

I am asking about total days per week that a member on active duty can work as per military regulations. Excluding, excercises and deployments. Just the normal on station work week, specifically pertaining to the U.S. Air Force.

Thanks!

As everyone has said - you are "owned" 24/7/365.

Depending on trade, your standard week could be 5x8 hour days, weekends off. It could also be 16hour days 4 on 2 off. Pull a 'duty' and you could be at work for 32 hours straight.

Advocates Push for Five-Day Carriage Horse Work Week

The horse-drawn carriage industry has come under fire in recent weeks following several accidents involving carriage horses. ASPCA President and CEO, Ed Sayres, said he supports the proposed regulations, which would accompany City Council Speaker Christine Quinn's push for better veterinary oversight in the carriage horse industry. The most serious of these incidents resulted in the death of a 15-year-old carriage horse named Charlie, who collapsed in the middle of West 54th Street while on his way to work on Sunday, Oct. Animal rights advocates were joined by several elected officials, including Borough President Scott Stringer, City Councilman Peter Vallone, City Councilwoman and Rosie Mendez. "We like the first step that Speaker Quinn has taken," Sayres said. A necropsy on the horse’s body is currently underway at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.

The Life of Jack: Twitter/Square co-founder details his grueling workweek

The key, Dorsey explained, is to “theme” his workdays, with each day of the week dedicated to specific matters. Somehow, Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of microblogging service Twitter and mobile payment company Square , is managing to pull it off, putting in 8 hour days at each of the two companies every day, without collapsing into a pile of jello. How does he do it. Dorsey, who serves as Chairman of Twitter and CEO at Square, shed some light on his double-duty worklife during a talk at the Techonomy conference in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday. Below is the schedule of Dorsey’s grueling workweek, as explained at the conference:. Managing two of today’s hottest start-ups simultaneously.

Interview with Brooke Ferguson from BusinessBackpacker.com | My 4 ...

I tried a variety of working situations but here was my quandary–the recreational / fun jobs didn’t pay enough money and were not intellectually challenging, and the ‘real’ jobs were challenging, but not enough fun and had too much structure.   I always knew I wanted to have my own business but was unclear until later in life exactly what business that would be.   I see you have a college degree, but did you ever enter the “9 to 5″ workforce after college. Lifestyle design , and seems to do an excellent job teaching others how to do the same. I have had ‘normal jobs’ before, but have preferred the ones that were rather nontraditional. Interview with Brooke Ferguson 1) After reading about you on BusinessBackpacker....
